I write songs. I am not a perfectionista, but I have sat a my desk doing rewrites until the song relented and came dashing out of the chute like a bucking Brahma Bull and left me breathless. I could sense there was something that no one else had ever said on that subject that I was impatient to say.There was, and after several hours and 7 rewrites it was born, kicking and screaming into the world.
